Calangute: The Captivating Beach in Goa
Calangute is one of the most popular towns located in the northern portion of the lovely city of Goa renowned for its beaches. It is the biggest beach in North Goa and is one of the main tourist destinations in Goa. Around 13 kilometers from Panaji and 8 kms from Mapusa, this lovely beach is really worth visiting. How to Get There
By Air - Dabolim Airport, the sole airport of Goa, is located around 40 kms from Calangute. With both domestic and international flights, the airport has all hi-tech facilities.
You can avail of prepaid taxis once you reach the airport to take you to your preferred destination. All roads to Calangute are in good condition for you drive down from the airport.
By Rail - It is the Konkan railway that passes via Goa. The major stations in Goa are Margao and Tivim. Travelling by rail can be a wonderful experience with lovely sights on the way.

Moving Around Calangute
Calangute is quite a small place and you do not need any transportation to move around it. A brisk walk of around twenty minutes will have you cover the entire place. Although you can avail of taxis or two wheelers for hire, you can also walk through this lovely place without any hitches.
