The city of Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and must be no brainer that it has some of the best accommodation options. The center of Istanbul provides a wide array of hotels and homestays which fit to any traveler either with deep pockets or looking to spend as minimum as possible.
The Fatih region neighboring the city center of Istanbul is a moderately priced area and is mostly residential. The Fatih bus station is one of the primary bus stations in the region with many eateries, including dominos for anyone who isn’t comfortable to eat the local food.
The Karakoy region on the other land mass separated by the water is something to look to if you want to stay away from the city center but still have access to eateries and in a safe residential area. Similar is the case with Beyoglu which has the Taksim Square. However for the frequent fliers and those who wish to stay close to the airport, Zeytinburnu is the best place to search for your rooms.
